The judge can order indeterminate detention at the hearing, i.e. you are in there until a judge is convinced you are no longer a danger to yourself or society.

With charges pending in another jurisdiction, Gadsden County will do its best to be rid of him.

And I don’t think he is insane enough for complete commitment. I think the whole thing was too premeditated. It’ll go to criminal trial.
