What the Swiss did was screw-up and get greedy. They opened offices in the US buy buying US corporations and became subject to US law. Greed clouds your judgment.

He has a snowball’s chance in hell of getting elected, and he would have to quit broadcasting to run, as happened to Fred Thompson because of his half-hearted attempt at the GOP nomination.

LOL Ahhh… but you forget the $billions in favors and kickbacks he’d get. 😉 Why, he’d have to start a company in Dubai, if he doesn’t already have shares in Bush/Cheney’s operations. Swiss banks are out. The Swiss have decided they no longer like or need the US’s filthy blood money (they still take it from the normal criminal types, that’s only dirty money). The Swiss have some standards it seems! LOL

Ehhh… Dunno why Jindal is even bothering anyway. Limburger is gonna be the next GOP prez hopeful. This is a good thing for sane people everywhere. Only the really hardcore nutcases would vote for Rush Limburger. (He really does stink BTW, in more ways than one). 😉

Piyush may want to consider some other states for fund-raising. Kansas, for example, or maybe South Dakota. There may be a few formerly rich enclaves in California that might open their wallets for him, but I would wager that most folks - confronted with the twin facts that he doesn't believe in monitoring Northern California volcanoes and wants to reduce the federal government (including such things as federal emergency management and federal fire-fighting forces) - may not be all that supportive of a Jindal non-candidacy... OTOH, it’s not like the GOP has a lot of choices left and opportunities for national name recognition are not exactly legion for the minority party in Congress. He could end up as the only candidate with enough money to mount a campaign if things don’t pick-up. Of course, if things do pick-up, then there’s not much point in running against the guy who fixed things and getting swamped.

(snicker). Yeah, it does. Like I said, Piyush spent literally *years* making himself into an honorary redneck in Louisiana. He was all over that state for years, pretending to like duck hunting and shit like that. Louisianians just kinda shook their heads and smirked and said "yep, that's ole' Bobby alright." But like you, I don't think it's gonna fly outside of Louisiana. Louisiana is a *small* state, and you just can't do what Piyush did in Louisiana on a national scale.
