Cotton was your friend, and he deserved to be acknowledged, OWL.
]]>Thanks for mentioning Cotton. He was a wonderful boy. Thank you, Kryten42. When I read that your former friend ran over your Sheltie, I cringed. How awful that she couldn’t feel the hurt she inflicted to the dog, and to you! They may be four-legged, but most times, they’re better than human friends.

]]>I’m sorry OWL to hear about cotton. I read your blog, and he looked like very handsome cat. I’m sure there is lot’s of room in heaven for cats, there’s probably not many humans there. He sounds like a good friend, and I know you will miss him. It’s never easy. I still miss cat’s (and dogs) I had years ago. I once broke up with a girl (in what many thought was a very serious relationship, the ‘M’ word was mentioned occasionally by some) after she backed her car out of the driveway over my dog and broke it’s back. She (my dog, a Sheltie) had to be put down, and she couldn’t understand why I was so angry at her and upset. Was just a dog. To me, that dog was my best friend at the time. I don’t like, or trust, anyone who’s callous or uncaring towards animals, or who has no respect for them. They usually have no respect for people either. Animals always know!
R.I.P. cotton.
