The local paper really has their act together. The link to the story is the main link to the latest information, so it remains current, and they have someone on staff who understands you need a map.

I have family in the area. My Mother’s brother retired there and his kids and grandkids are still there. They are all out of danger, but you worry.

Right on cue, we’re planning a trip down there. probably in two weeks.

If something else inteferes with my long-awaited vacation, I will be most ROYALLY pissed.

Thanks for the link with the great map. I think our spot will be okay. We’d be at Cherry Grove Beach on the waterway side. Chery Grove is further northeestup the coast, right near the NC state line. Very clearly marked on the map.
