They didn’t seem to notice that during the six years that the Republicans controlled the whole shooting match, none of their pet peeves was dealt with by laws. The Hedgemony was openly infringing on the Bill of Rights, and you didn’t hear a peep out of them, but elect a few Democrats and they are “under assault”.

Yeah, I mentioned to that to one of the tighty righties who was ranting about guns. He stopped talking for about ten seconds, wrinkled his sloped brow, then said "Well, but Obama is a liberal, so he *will* propose gun laws, so there!" And some people wonder why I’m not a supporter of the Likud.

I’m still looking for some basis for all of the claims about guns. Every time anyone mentions guns in Washington, I know I’m in for harangues locally, so I follow gun legislation, and there isn’t any at the Federal level.
