The local fighter wing used to deploy there on a regular basis, and no one ever volunteered to go. They were thrilled when the mission shifted out of the kingdom.

They built a huge facility, but didn’t bother to actually create an army to go with it, choosing instead to hire what they want done from other people.

If there is ever a serious threat to the kingdom they are SOL, because there enough enough Saudis who even want to pretend they are soldiers.
