That was taken at a distance as these are ferals. I have stabilized the number in the group, and take those I can to be neutered/spayed, but it isn’t always easy.

Grey-nose is the alpha tom, and Lone Ranger is the alpha cat. It’s an acceptance ritual, in that Toes will pick up the family scent markers and then “share” them with her kitten(s).

I heard a kitten, but I didn’t see anything yet, as the “nest” is hidden.
