In reply to LadyMin. The really bad part from this report is that things have been gradually adjusting to cooler temperatures for centuries, and now the direction has been reversed and accelerated for higher temperatures.

By the time the majority of people understand that, yes, climate change will affect everyone, it will be past the window of time in which it can be reversed. We may already be at that point. Time to move (or stay) on higher ground. .-= last blog ..Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme… =-.

Even some politicians are aware of these facts. Unfortunately, Sen. John Kerry never assumed the top job he very probably won (IMNSHO), so we'll never know what U.S. policy on a number of environmental matters might have been with a more-or-less sane individual in the big chair. If GeeDubya wanted to be Dog's instrument in initiating the end times, he may well have succeeded. Time will tell... and not very much time, at that.
