They are so predicable that they get scammed all the time.

The British site Newsbiscuit had a bit on the need to have a professional glamor portrait available at all times for the media in case you are mashed by a truck or kidnapped by terrorists, to avoid the embarrassment of having an out of focus vacation shot appear in your local paper.

The better the picture, the more media attention you’ll get.

I think The Onion and The Daily Show are the only peddlers in actual truth in today’s print and tv media. What does that say about the state of the rest of the media, that two satirical outlets are the best media outlets you can turn to in order to get truth rather than he-said she-said stenography?!
