In reply to hipparchia. I think Meek was positioning himself for a run against Crist, but it won't hurt him against Rubio. The important part is to get the Dem voters out, and he had better start thinking about that.

purple dog! i admit i hadn't paid any attention to him until recently, his district being just about the only part of the state i've never lived in or even spent a significant amount of time in. yeah, i'm hoping the republican party devours itself in the senate race. i'm annoyed with meek's withdrawing his support of hr676 and with his weasel words [and i'm being kind here] on abortion, but he's a definite improvement on any of the republicans. .-= last blog ..Nope. =-.

There’s a rumor that the state flag of Alabama represents the signature of the majority of the state [rimshot]. I’m so tired of the football flags littering the highways.

Kendrick Meek’s chanced are improving with the mud-wrestling in the GOP primary. At this point, Charlie can win the state, but I’m not sure he can win the Republican primary.

Better news is that Alan Boyd may not win the Democratic primary for his seat. I really despise that Purple Dog [he’s too much of a Repub to called Blue anything] piece of garbage.

i [heart] dan gelber. i was truly disappointed when he decided to not run for senator, but i AM looking forward to his being our next attorney general, so not a bad trade-off. as for annoying alabama, probably they're laughing at us because our corrupt officials are so inept as to actually get caught at it. .-= last blog ..Nope. =-.
