- Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
- Group B: Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria, Greece
- Group C: England, USA, Algeria, Slovenia
- Group D: Germany, Australia, Ghana, Serbia
- Group E: Netherlands, Japan, Cameroon, Denmark
- Group F: Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay, Slovakia
- Group G: Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal
- Group H: Spain, Honduras, Chile, Switzerland
Group G looks nasty, but the US has a good chance to advance.

On paper it looks like a good draw for England and US. There are no easy games at this level anymore but I would expect an England US 1,2 in the group

That’s my thought on the draw.
Group G is going to be bad news. North Korea will probably be savaged, but the other three can all win against each other on any given day.
