Being evil, Lucrezia likes being admired.

The flash problem makes the cats seem out of focus because of the refraction caused by their hair [as well as the “green eye”]. It has to be the preset that is triggering it, and there is no way of changing it. I would have turned the flash off, giving the prevailing conditions, if I had thought it might go off. The ferals, unless they’re asleep or eating, rarely stay in one place for long. I have terabytes devoted to blurry cats that were going to be great shots seconds before the shutter finally worked.

Lovely cat... and she knows how to pose. The flash is the last major unsolved issue of today's point-and-shoot digital camera. The newer ones are better, but none of them does it quite right. It must be a very difficult engineering problem. .-= last blog ..The Left =-.
