yep, and thank goodness we had him. i loved his political writing [and i’d forgotten about his contribution to b.a.d. since i haven’t been a very diligent participant the past couple of years].

my heartfelt condolences to his family.

He was a writer in the best sense of the word, and his take on Washington and politics in the US will be missed.

I remember reading Jon Swift around 05/06 until I burned out and had to stop reading 20+ blogs a day when blogging at Loaded Mouth.

He was definitely one of the good ones, and even though I haven’t visited for a few years, I do remember his blog and his style that usually had me smiling at the very least. He was one of the sources of my inspiration at LM.

A real tragedy and more so for his family. Sincere condolences, and I truly hope both he and his father will rest in peace.

He was worth reading under both names, and had a wicked eye for picking targets to skewer. Before there was a Colbert Report, there was Jon Swift.
