It’s beginning to look like you can support a causal relationship between statements by government officials advocating more drilling and oil spills.

Since this is an election year we have pictures of really stupid people all over.

Ummm… well, it may be that ‘the stupid’ is the norm there, in which case, they’d have to arrest pretty much everyone, including themselves! 😆 😛

There might be some battery involved, but I seriously doubt there will be any arrests, given the number of deputies who fish.

If they can do it for drunks and “sex offenders” [whatever that may mean], why not the stupid?

The damn boom is hard to come by, and there isn’t any spare around, so it you damage it, you take your chances. We have a lot of people right now who are dependent on fish for protein in their diet because the food stamps don’t cover much.

I suspect publishing the pictures, names, and addresses of those “boaters” might result in a few assault and battery charges though, which might not be conducive to public order. By which I mean, err, we *are* talking about Redneckistan here, where there’s a significant subset of folks who are *not* always willing to wait for Mr. Law to handle things. So maybe you’re being a bit rash here. On the other hand, my redneck side grins at the thought, heh.
