Welding gloves are also useful for handling macaws, PJ, as I learned while pet-sitting one for a relative.
]]>I trained TMS to accept a belly rub by use of leather welding gloves to prevent the bleeding part of the equation :twisted:. Eventually he got tired of chewing on the glove and allowed me to scritch his tummy. Took me five years to build up to the point where I could take the glove off to scritch his tummy though!
