I have found them everywhere except in the cabinets because they have child-proof closures that are also cat-proof. Dot spends a lot time behind some old textbooks on one of my “overflow” bookshelves. There’s just enough space for her and she can enter from the back.

Sweet! Did you check the cabinets and closets for them? Sometimes, my kitties go to undisclosed locations, too. I sure wish I knew where all the hidey holes are.

My younger cats don’t run SRP, they merely shut their eyes when the “box” gets pointed their way. It is only the older two that leave.

That is right beside my office chair, Jams, so the other cats can’t disturb her but she knows if I head out to the kitchen.

She will probably make the association, Steve, so get your pictures now. As I hypothesized before, I think it is the sound of the capacitor charging that tips them off, and Lily may not have made the connection.

Lily stares right at the camera for two, three, even four shots. That’s why she appears on my blog so much more often than Esther. I hate to think of the condition of Lily’s eyes in a few years.

Seems like all the cats understand the flashing box and run away… well, except Rhett sometimes. I think they think it steals their souls!
