Actually I’ve been known to add a “kicker” to the water when I knew I was targeting a nuisance varmint, but with cat fights you don’t want to add anything that might significantly annoy the victim, especially if they will be returning to your house.

I know, Elayne, but I want you down in the “E’s” with Echidne and Eschaton. You will notice a block of “senior” blogs down there which is the pattern in which I read them.

The software doesn’t allow me much freedom in order unless I want to hand code them, and the editor will copy link and all with one highlight.

BTW, your Doc isn’t kidding about the pain of passing a kidney stone. The hypersonic blasting they do now is the only way to go. I had a friend who had them more than once in the old days. He said it was worse then being shot, and he would know.

A Super-Soaker heavy duty squirt gun is your friend in such cases, Jams. I have one by my backdoor and it is much more convenient than going for the garden hose to break-up a cat fight. The model I have keeps me 10 feet away from the fight while delivering a stream of water on target. A bucket of water will do in a pinch, and it makes cleaning wounds easier.

I have had the clawings before I shifted to water.
