It sounds like the banksters need to find another country to outsource their paperwork to, or, perhaps, hire some people who know what they are doing.

The Sheriff has a duty to uphold the law, and the banks aren’t doing it legally. These are tough economic times for local governments. I would think that there should be a fine imposed by the county for filing improper documents and wasting the Sheriff’s resources, or double the fee if the first attempt is flawed. šŸ˜ˆ

As simple as the requirements for eviction are, you really have to wonder about the quality of foreclosure documents, which are much more complex. If they can’t achieve better than 5% on the eviction documents, why would you assume that they can even achieve 5% on the foreclosures?

ā€˜This Isnā€™t The Lottoā€™: Sheriff Halting All Foreclosures Until Banks Prove Evictions Are Legal And Legitimate

Beginning Monday, and for the second time in two years, Cook County Sheriff Tom Dart is refusing to carry out evictions. The latest moratorium will apply to those people living in homes whose lenders arenā€™t able to provide documentation that the eviction is legitimate and legal. ā€œAll I am looking from them is an affidavit saying, ā€˜The cases you have in your system are all reviewed. All the documents were done correctly. They were all legally done. And you are not enforcing illegal orders,ā€™ā€ Dart said Tuesday.

He said his team recently reviewed 350 cases and found that only 17 of them had the proper paperwork. The banks involved included Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, GMAC/Ally Financial and their subsidiaries.ā€ This is so outrageous. These poor people are being put through this day in and day out, by people who donā€™t do their jobs,ā€ he said. ā€œItā€™s so hard for me to stomach these people. This isnā€™t just we are taking their bike away, or their car away. This is their house.ā€

Dart held a press conference Monday to announce his decision. He told reporters, ā€œThis is not the lotto. This isnā€™t something where we roll the dice and say, ā€˜You know what? Possibly this has been done legally. Maybe it hasnā€™t, but in the meantime you and your children go find some place to live. Thereā€™s plenty of homeless shelters out there.ā€™ We canā€™t do that.ā€

Apparently, at least one Sheriff in the USA knows the difference between right and wrong.
