It’s hard to top village traditions that go back a couple of hundred years, Frederick. They have since stopped building the bonfire, but everything else continues as it did.

We won’t see anyone, Kryten, they have all been brain-washed into attending the “harvest festivals” despite being of generally the same Celtic stock that kicked the whole thing off in Europe. Mc’s, Mac’s, and O’s are dominate in South Fundistan, but they try to hide their roots on Halloween.

We had two groups of little (well, young teens) trick-or-treaters tonight. 😀 Which, considering we just ended our wettest October, and it’s still raining and cold, was more than I expected (Halloween isn’t that big a deal here). But, Judging from the costumes, they’d been preparing for awhile and were determined to get bag’s full of goodies! 😆 One group of 4 girls had obviously put a lot of work into their costumes, so I just about filled their bags! No boys around this time, I guess the girls around here are a lot tougher! 😉 😀
