No worries there m8! 😉 I spent a lot of my early blogging all over DeLay and exposing what a crooked scumbag he was. We dug up some info that ended up being linked to by blogs as far away as Europe and the MidEast! Nobody had a nice thing to say about him (unless they were on his pad. And even some of them didn’t think a lot of him). 🙂

That is one of my more memorable blogging successes. Others included the Disney/ABC film scandal (and because of us the project was canceled), And we worked with several blogs to bring the CIA Valerie Plame scandal to light (that was a very difficult project for me for many reasons), and I worked hard on the FBI Siebel Edmonds scandal (and one of my friends is still working closely with Siebel to get the truth out. It’s coming, though slowly).

There were others, but they were the highlights (lowlights?) 🙂

I’d built up a strong network of informants/contacts/bloggers by 2006, then my health went far south and I had to give it all up. I am still in loose contact with a few of them. My old training and background came in handy for this kind of thing. 🙂 Was god while it lasted!

I just hope he ends up in *general population*, but will probably be a *country club*. There really is no justice. *shrug*

Every stereotype of the crooked, mean politician you’ve ever seen in print applies to Tom DeLay. Indeed, quite literally, my vote is worth less than the vote of a GOPer in Texas because of DeLay’s year 2000 re-re-redistricting plan, reluctantly approved by federal courts.

E.g., there’s one district that follows a highway from Austin to Houston (about 150 mi.), drawn that way for no legitimate demographic reason but purely politically, for the purpose of splitting up some larger predominantly Democratic districts.

And then there are all his games with money. One of those games finally caught up with him. I suppose I’ll have to settle for knowing that he’ll rot in jail for life, since we can’t send him straight to Hell for what he did.

There are a couple of more people awaiting trial, so I assume this may persuade them to cut a deal and plead out.
