No doubt it was part of the Trilateral Commission plot to sow unease among the lower classes that gave Russia the advantage when the International Date Line was drawn which results in this grossly unfair calendar advantage of Russia. The Freemasons are probably involved, as well as Glenn Beck and Rupert Murdock. :twisted:

You do realize, Jill that the first town Santa visits is Anadyr on the Chukotka Peninsula of Russia, and the last is Attu on the Western tip of the Aleutians and he uses reindeer, probably from the Chukchi of Siberia, not caribou from Alaska? By the time he gets to Attu all that’s left in the bag is lint, cookie crumbs, candy cane splinters, and fruit cakes. A coincidence?

We had clouds for the Solstice, so we couldn’t see the eclipse, and are scheduled for rain and then bitter cold for Christmas, Anya, but things could always be worst. It’s all the same celebration, whether people want to admit it or not.

No lights here. Have you seen the cost of electricity here??! (Yeah, rhetorical) 😉

But we have a tree with gaudy baubles and tinsel. No snow either. 😉

I just finished cleaning and servicing the BBQ for tomorrow, and mowed the lawn! Just going to prepare a couple of the salads now. *sigh* and they say a *woman’s* work is never done! Hmmph! 😉 😀 Also got some Christmas tarts baking, and my housemate is making a Pavlova! Yummm! Gonna be a very overweight Christmas! 😆
