My dream is cat birth control that can be introduced in the food, as well as flea control.

I was once able to get the specific nematodes that ate flea eggs and you could spread over the yard. It really worked well, but no one sells them anymore. The standard yard treatments are poisonous to a lot of things besides fleas and ticks.

Now if we only had something similar for other blood-suckers, like the Florida legislature… 😉

Part of it is genetic, another is dumping all extra fur for the summer, and then there are fleas to consider which really create hydration problems.

But”the Underhouse clan” sounds as if it should be the name of a Hobbit family.

She is among our older group because she spends a lot of time being an unofficial cat of a lady who lives down the street. She was fixed years ago and can be nice, when she’s in the mood.

If I’m scratching Ringo’s head, Tip will come over to have her head scratched too. Froggy will tolerate it from time-to-time, actual contact.

Some of the others will rub against you, but don’t bend over as the best you can hope for is they will jump away.

Tip almost always ‘flies her flag’, carrying her tail up, possibly to keep her ‘tip’ clean and white.

You are advancing on my food spot to give me food! Hurry up! See? My tail is up to show you this is a good and appreciated thing!

Are there ANY kitties you can pat? Or are they all feral? I’m afraid I’d have to wear leather gloves so I could sneak a caress every once in a while….

Yes, Jams, she is truly annoyed with me. Good thing she doesn’t have a brick 😉
