I hate emergency rooms, even when I know the people, as I did when I was in law enforcement. They are almost as bad as daycare centers as pools of pestilence, but that’s where the medical non-system sends you if you happen to be ill at an inconvenient time for your doctor [if you are fortunate to have a doctor].

It’s the last weekend of the month, so there will be a lot of people with all their stuff in hired lorries for the approach of Irene. As you know from personal experience, they should just leave it on the truck until they find out if the new place is still livable.

Actually it was a very good move, Jams. It was the easiest way of telling a lot of friends and family what was going on without having to make multiple phone calls.

Nothing new on her condition since yesterday.
