In reply to oldwhitelady. Actually, it is more about being able to run a decent distance, as they are in a small house with furniture in the way. They don't spend too much time near each other when they are outside.

That’s a fun picture. You’re a good guy to unsnag her. It’s nice the neighbor can tie his cats out. I’m sure they enjoy the direct sunlight, and watching the birds.

She is spared the indignities heaped upon the youngest cat in the household, Wonder. When he is outside Froggy, among others, have a habit of grabbing his rope and stopping him. The three older cats are big enough to just haul the ferals along until they lose interest, but Wonder gets hauled up short.

My neighbor says you have to start at 8-weeks-old to get them to tolerate the collar and rope, and he has managed to do it to all four cats.

Bootsie was the first, and she tolerates it, but certainly doesn’t like it, as indicated by the picture.

She’s not wearing a harness, Jams. That’s what’s so funny about the neighbor’s cats, they’re wearing just ordinary cat collars that they could slip in a few minutes if they cared to, but somehow the neighbor has trained them to not do so. How… uncat-like!

I always have to laugh at the photos of your neighbor’s cats on their tethers. How… un-catlike! Though the disgruntled expression on Boots’s face is very cat-like indeed, heh.
