The question of a new alpha tom is going to be noisy, as outsiders will now be free to enter the area. The juveniles are not large or skilled enough to defend the territory, so it will be an outsider, probably an abandoned cat.

He was a good one, Jams. Earlier in the week he was challenged by a young tom, and scared that pushy juvenile so bad, that the youngster stunned himself by running at full-bore into the side of my neighbor’s house. The challenger was trying to see if Blaze was gaining on him, instead of looking where he going.
