The energy companies seem to be changing the world to benefit pine beetles, fleas, and fire ants. They should be selling products and making their profits from their fellow vermin and leave the rest of us alone.

Oil is not nearly as important as water, and these actions are decimating that vital resource. Droughts are reducing it and frakking is poisoning it. You can’t adjust to a lack of water, food, or air, all you can do is die.

Well, yeah, humans are pretty adaptable. Why, right now somewhere on this planet there’s a 10 year old girl being raped by her father, who has done so regularly for the past two years when he wasn’t beating her for being a stupid girl, and you know what? She’s adapted to that and will likely survive to adulthood. Does that mean that it’s a *good* thing, though?

This cold-blooded sociopathic lizard person is doing to our planet what that sicko is doing to his girl and yeah, it’ll survive, but as a sad twisted shadow of what it coulda been… and humanity will survive, or at least some small percentage of humanity will survive, but again, see above.

According to the CEO of Exxon, we humans will adapt to Climate change and will be able to just go on as usual. Sort of like what Pres Shrub said after 9/11 “Don’t worry about us going to war, ya’ll just go to the mall and shop!”
