The SSAN is part of the DMV database, so it’s available for searching, but it’s not in the DHS data base.
Unless they print out the entire data base and hire people to search by hand, I don’t see the point of using it.
This entire operation should have been handled by the people elected to do it – the county supervisors of elections. There is no statewide system, nor are there any state standards for voter registration lists. It is a giant waste of money that the state doesn’t have.
