For real, even when his sister made a point of checking on him, which would have normally ended in ‘tag’. I checked to ensure there was still eye movement, and he hadn’t had a seizure of some kind, but he flat would not move while that harness was in place. He retaliated for several days by forgetting about the existence of litter boxes, but I never repeated the experiment. He has some quirks that would probably make sense if I knew what happened during the six months he lived with the guy who left Dot and him behind when he had to move.

]]>After 8 hours I gave up on trying to get Sox to wear it. He just flopped over and went catatonic on me. He didn’t move until I got it off of him. I assumed he equated it with the neck pinch in his pea brain and froze. The other cats I tried it on just clawed the hell out of me.
I’m really looking forward to a hard freeze to kill some bugs around here. They have been worse than ever this year, especially with all the rain. I don’t think I’ll see another one on the coast.
]]>Yah, Mencken doesn’t look out the windows either, he has absolutely no interest in that “outdoors” thing, been there, done that, finished with that. My blinds are destroyed on my windows, but that’s all TMF’s doing.
That tail will be a mighty fine nose warmer this winter, I’m sure. And, uhm, winter is coming. Just ask the Starks, who are fond of repeating that line every fifteen minutes :).
]]>The tail will be a comfort in the winter, if we still have a winter.
]]>Glad to hear Ringo is doing better. And dang, that tail is *fluffy*! Miss Underhouse decidedly didn’t pick that up that genetic input from any of your locals, that’s for sure…
