Keep it up… things may actually get better! (They have gotten better for me… three years ago I spent a year in a wheelchair; now I can lumber about on a cane for short distances.)

I really hope all is good with you and your family, including the cat’s! 😀

Yeah, I’m still fighting on. As the Khmer Rouge discovered, I’m a hard bugger to kill! Not sure about *good* drugs h, at least… not what I would have considered *good* back in my Uni days! Ahhh… the good ol’ 70’s! We were young, naive and carefree. 😉 😀

I hear ya Bryan! I’ve been saying for about two years now that I have a problem in that area. Took them long enough to discover I was right. Of course, it’s a lot worse now. *shrug*

I think you may be right about the cost of Endo’s. They are one of the highest paid specialists here. The biggest problem is that they rarely bulk bill (part of our Medicare system, When a medico bulk-bills, a major portion of the fees are picked up by Medicare, around 75% but it varies a little.) The Surgeon said that this fellow works at a clinic one day a Month that does bulk-bill, but it’s in another town. Luckily, there is a regular rail and bus service there and it’s not that far away. She’s going to arrange an app’t for me because it’s urgent, so I should be able to squeeze my way in. 🙂

A friend kindly gave me a roast turkey breast yesterday, but I couldn’t eat much. So I am making a turkey & salad sandwich for my dinner. It’s very nice! 😀

People who have experienced both say the gall bladder is worse. They need to yank that sucker ASAP. You have to watch what you eat [fats] afterwards, but you can at least eat.

Endocrinologists are in short supply in this country too. It must have something to do with the amount of money they can make, because with the money you owe after med school, you need big bucks to make the payments.

They aren’t kidding, Ellroon. The problem is that they are designed to be used outdoors, so I had to add a ‘corpse catcher’ to prevent the ‘parts’ from flying around after zapping. You definitely shouldn’t use one in the kitchen.

I used to think the worst time for me was being shot twice in Cambodia. it seems I was mistaken! LOL

And yes, I agree with you about morons who use *normalcy*. I prefer to use the actual English vocabulary, unless I am just having fun or making a point. 😉

(And praises to you for using the word *normality* rather than normalcy. I want to do something violent to the bozo who thought that one up…)

Bryan, don’t sit too close to Sparkie because the bugs being fried can still spread viruses apparently.

Spent the past week in Hospital again. On the plus side, they *guessed* that my gall bladder and liver had become septic, and gave me massive doses of 4 anti-biotic’s, and I have an oral course to finish over the next week (something called ‘Curam Duo Forte’ from Sandoz). I guess they were correct, because I can breathe again without extreme pain, and can eat without vomiting it back, and the distended abdomen has shrunk somewhat and doesn’t feel like a drum. I consider that a win! LOL The Hospital is also finally organizing for me to see an Endocrinologist, something I have needed for a few years now. It’s difficult as there is only one here, and he spends most of his time with expectant moms! I am scheduled for surgery sometime in the next month to have my gall bladder removed. Hopefully, that will be the end of it and I can get back to some kind of *normality* (whatever that is these days anyway). 😉 🙂

Glad you made it through the rain OK. 🙂 Yeah, weather there is very strange. Weird here also, I think it’s safe to say that the drought is over now. Hasn’t stopped raining for months! (Though it’s not as stormy as yours thankfully). 🙂
