Yeah, Badtux, I wasn’t a fan of the earth deciding to move around without telling me it was going to.
This isn’t an Opal, Ivan, or Dennis. we’ll make it through fairly dry. Local governments know how to do this, even if the governor is an incompetent CEO.
]]>Cat 2 isn’t too bad. 🙂 A little *weird* now and then is good! Keeps the interest up, otherwise *same old, same old* get’s boring! 😀 😉
You are one heck of a switched on guy, whatever happens, I’m sure you’ll be ready for it. 🙂
]]>At the moment it doesn’t look like it will be more than a Category 2 at landfall, which could be anywhere in the northern Gulf at this point. This storm is just weird.
]]>Just remember that your last purchase should be at least a gallon of your favorite outrageously expensive ice cream. Since it is too expensive to waste, and the power could go out at any time, you obviously have to eat all of it as quickly as possible.
Yup! Gotta get the priorities right and proper! 😆
Hey!! One of the local (enterprising) confectionery stored (where I can get decent sugar free confectionery for outrageous prices) has decided to stock some unusual (for here anyway) US goods. Not just the usual suspects that many have, lick Doc Pepper, Hershey, etc. The stocked the AriZona Beverages brand of drinks. I discovered these about 10y ago when OS and haven’t seen them since. You lucky sod’s get them for .99c (which for a big 680 ml/23 oz can is insane), but they are $3 here (which isn’t bad really). I got a few, a Green Tea with Georgia Peach & Ginseng, Arnold Palmer Half & Half Zero (half tea / half lemonade no-cal), and a Kiwi-Strawberry juice (one of my fave flavor combo’s). I’m just enjoyed the Peach/Green tea. Nice! 😀
There are some good things still made in the USA! 😉 😛 😆
