In reply to JuanitaM. Since her fur has grown back she lots a whole lot better. She had rubbed the fur off both sides of her face and the inside of both forelimbs in cleaning attempts, and then was pulling out patches of fur all over as a reaction to dermatitis brought on by not eating. I thank you for your kind words, but you are correct about my attitude towards whoever did this.

Bryan, I noticed your photo of Ringo on Friday. The last time I had checked in, you were too angry to talk about it, so I still didn’t know what happened. On Friday, I decided to backtrack on your blog to see if you’d ever disclosed the circumstances. I almost fell off my chair.

There are just no words for this, and it’s no wonder you were in a murderous frame of mind. I am so sorry for Ringo, but she sure looks beautiful for what she’s been through. Well, she’s beautiful anyway, but you know what I mean.

Jams, let me just say that she is as good a patient as I would be in her place, so I’m really hoping that she is cleared to eat in a week or ten days. [I’m a miserable sod when I’m sick and can’t do for myself.]

With all of the rain we have had, Hipparchia, I couldn’t string together a couple of days to do anything meaningful, and now we are, hopefully, coming to the end of her ‘sentence’.

When we get some decent weather, I’ll probable build it regardless, for the possibility of future problems. If a feral has the ‘operation’ they need a safe place to ‘sober up’ before re-joining the group.

I would love to have her back on kibble, Ellroon. The A/D she started with is $2/can. You can get a lot of kibble for $2.

she’s still living in the bathroom then? not that the weather outside has been conducive to building cat runs lately, though i still want to do something along those lines for my horde.
