If the Florida Democratic Party had a decent GOTV machine there wouldn’t be a single state-wide office in Republican hands. There is a very strong Republican state organization, and an almost non-existent Democratic counterpart. It’s all about funding.

Democrats got more total votes than Republicans in the House elections, but by gerrymandering it so that Democrats got all-Democrat districts and Republicans got 49% Democrat districts, more total districts elected Republicans. It’ll be interesting to see if Barry O’Bama’s Supreme Court nominees will fix that (because we know the current Supremes are just fine and happy with the situation), because it’s clearly turning in an issue that’s making a mockery of the notion that the U.S. is a democracy.

Oh wait, here I am with those numbers again. Everybody knows that numbers have a liberal bias .

If they don’t start fixing the mess they made in the next session of the legislature Florida will have a Democratic governor in two years.

Congresscritters only get two years in office at a time, and a number of the worse were eliminated this time, and more will be targeted next time.

The Repubs are fading before our eyes by becoming the party of white guys, a disappearing demographic. The Dems need to understand this reality, and go back to their liberal roots.

Our ABC has a good summary blow-by-blow:
As it happened: Obama wins second term as US president

I see that BillO ‘s head exploded, and he is full of his usual sour grapes that his orgasmic fantasy World still eludes him! LMAO

And I see that nothing has really changed (except that some of the Congressional races were decided on the side of sanity, but that the Rethugs still own a majority of Congress. Great to see Elizabeth Warren win, and I predicted she would! ‘You go girrrl’! 😆 😛

Of course, the Rethugs still own the House, so the next four years will be the same as the last four, which will make Obama happy. He’ll still have someone to blame for getting nothing done. 🙂

Only in the USA can a Prez win and lose at the same time! And people wonder what the problem is! Really?
