They have an intact social safety net.

Jams, it works better in the UK, because the laws are enforced. Every society throws up some whackoes, but few that compare to the US.

Michael Ryan in Hungerfor that bastard in that primary school in Dunblane Thomas Hamilton or Derrick Bird in Cumbria couple of years ago.

Gin control is not infallible but it works reasonably well here. Training in responsible gun use works well in Switzerland.
