I’m trying to figure out why he even ran because there is no indication that he actually enjoys the job. He goes to work, which is a vast improvement over the Shrubbery’s record, and Congressional Republicans, but he doesn’t actually seem to want to do it.

He can run a campaign, but the actually job seems to be a chore, not an avocation.

Joe Biden, the Clintons, and many others like government service, but Obama doesn’t seem comfortable.

Does Obama believe his own rhetoric? As time passes, I think not, which is sad, because much of it is good rhetoric. But one cannot make him into something he is not. I voted against Rmoney far more than I voted for Obama. I voted for some (minimal) protection of women’s rights, which would have sunk like a stone if Mitt had seized power. It wasn’t a hard decision, but it certainly had some negative consequences.
