I think it was because it was a little chilly, OWL, and she decided to let Mini-Sox provide some heat, but I have seen her ‘put her arm around him’ when they were sitting up.

Ellroon, ferals who are pattable generally cease to be ferals after a while, having adopted some family or another (like our friend Froggy), so pretty much by definition true ferals you encounter in the wild (so to speak), as vs. homed cats that happen to roam, aren’t pattable.

In reply to ellroon. You could pat them if you didn't mind being turned into a scratching post after you cornered them. Some of them will rub against your legs while they are being fed, but evaporate if you bend down.
