And as long as the vast majority of Americans are more concerned with whether there will be a next season of Honey Boo Boo than with solving the problems of America, the people at the top will have no incentive to solve the problems regardless of the amount of money that they make or don’t make.

We have known what the problems are for a long time but fixing them requires time, money, consistency, and cooperation. As long as the people at the top are making a lot of money by not solving the problems, nothing will be done.

The Boston Marathon bombings as well as Sandy Hook, Aurora, (how horrible to put the etc behind those two), etc. qualify as domestic terrorism. Simple as that. We have homespun Merikan terrorists right here in River City. So it’s not as simple as pointing to Islam and screaming (and then nuking some foreign country over there), but actually demands of us hard work and spending some money to understand, deflect, defuse, reroute those who feel that nothing will help their lives but massive death and destruction.

Never underestimate the willful stupidity of people whose meal ticket depend supon willful stupidity. If you’ve been banging the drum about Islamic terrorists for the past ten years, then if someone sneezes, why, it must be Islamic terrorists! If your city wants anti-terrorism money, why, you talk up the fact that these Islamic terrorists want to bomb YOUR city too!

You’d think people would catch on that all these people care about are keeping their meal tickets coming, yet there are still suckers out there who believe them. Unbelievable. Sheesh.
