They should just let them, and it will locate a lot of the unexploded ordnance that was dumped by aircraft coming in to land at Hurlburt Field. They have EOD out there after every hurricane collecting or detonating in place bombs exposed by the storm surge.

There is a limit to how much you should have to do to protect these people from themselves.
