I bought the pad for Sox, and put it outside after he passed. It uses the power as a night light staying warm until a cat gets on, then it uses about 25 watts to raise the temperature to about 100°, the normal temperature for a cat. It is on the former base of a pool table that someone dumped under the house, which warms up to share the warmth.

I’ll probably put a windbreak of some kind over it, at some point.

Reminds me, they, the hot cross buns, will be available starting next week. You can only get them during Lent and Easter.
