The current totals only really reflect Kathmandu losses. There are going to be entire villages that were wiped out by landslides, when they can finally get out to areas beyond the large towns and cities.

Injuries are running more than twice as high as the fatalities.

Don’t get me started… I just had occasion to watch about 20 YouTube videos of tangos, ending with several interpretations of Tom Lehrer’s “Masochism Tango” pasted together by different people from clips of the Addams Family TV show… at the moment, the notion of tectonic plates grinding and pushing up mountains could sound downright erotic!

In all seriousness, I suspect the death toll will go much higher than a couple thousand, though of course I hope against hope that it won’t…

So, everyone should just ignore the measurable movement of the Indian tectonic plate that causes it to grind against the Asian plate and pushes up the Himalayan mountain range.

So what is their reasoning regarding all of the tornadoes in Kansas?

No, I’m not joking.

SIGH.
