And if you drop enough money to be a “high roller”, you get comp’ed to sleep in the Lincoln Bedroom.

Hey, it’s a business model he’s familiar with, right?

Bernie talks about Citizens United and the whole concept of companies as people. Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream started in Vermont and Bernie knows them. He often says “Ben is a person; Jerry is a person; but Ben & Jerry’s is not.”

Offering a bribe is just as illegal as accepting one, but no one in New York is going to bother charging him. He has spent his entire adult life promoting himself. He puts his name on things that other people create by virtue of getting other people to pay for it. If he got elected, he would spend less time in the White House than GW Bush did, and spend most of his time wandering around the country.

He didn’t mention amounts but said “I know this because I’ve bought dozens of them” (paraphrased, can’t remember the exact wording). He was preaching transparency with the apparent assumption you’d figure out what was being bought and soiled (err, sold. A Sigmund slide if there ever was one). It’s why I think this will resonate even amongst democrats. If the Donald raises Citizens United to the forefront then I’m prepared to take him out of the clown car. On the other hand, the Donald and the nuclear trigger codes… Double Starkle!

The Donald can talk about the bad effects of money in politics from the viewpoint of someone who has been providing the money.

I’m more of a Bernie type of guy; Hillary if I must. However, I listened to the Donald and he makes a brilliant case against Super PACs and the lack of transparency all the while he’s kicking the jebster in the privates. This message of his will resonate. This particular clown just removed half of his make-up
