There is a huge chunk of the money supply stuffed in very expensive mattresses and not enough available to actually fuel the economy.

The only thing I can think of is oil futures and such, but when oil is in such a glut that tankers full of oil are lined up double-rank outside of Singapore waiting for someone to buy their oil, it’s hard to drive up the price of oil. Same with most other commodities they could invest it in, and Obama driving down the deficit has eliminated government bonds as a reasonable investment. So yeah, it’s down now, but it’ll go back up. This is just another part of the long con, where the top financiers run a pump-and-dump scam over and over again….
