How dare you question our lords and betters, Steve? Surely you know that our compassionate billionaire overlords love us and want only the best for us, right? The only reason they’re not showing us the agreement is because they know our feeble little peon brains could not possibly comprehend the totality of such brilliance. That’s all. We don’t know much about the text of this treaty… they damned well won’t release it to us, having negotiated it in secret, for no purpose we would see as good for working people I’m sure… but sources of info not directly dependent on American governmental data are so close to nonexistent as to render the TPP a “secret treaty” in every real-world sense. What are they hiding? Damned if I know… but it can’t be good for the citizenry of the nations involved, or they wouldn’t be going to such lengths to hide it.
