My reference was to stepping on things at night in bare feet. Yes, my remaining duo are getting extremely fluffy, and I spend time brushing them when they’ll permit it.

I think I’ve got both at my house – the cats are putting on their winter coats and the mice have moved inside to keep from floating away.

Too bad they don’t leave you ‘presents’ to step on in the middle of the night. šŸ™‚

You are getting into your local traffic jam, the Presidential campaign season, Anya. They just ignore the fact that the Florida Panhandle exists. Good luck with that. šŸ˜‰

They all seemed quite chummy with Kaylee and Koshka, stopping by to nosh birdseed and have a chat with the cats.

These days, the girls have become proficient mouse catchers taking a tag-team approach. There never seem to be any leftovers, fortunately.

Hadley won’t even eat wet kibble. The dry is better for his teeth, but I would have expected him to at least try something else.

I’ll see what I can do about a “black cat”.

The squirrel he went after lives in that tree, a huge live oak, and has a history of annoying cats.

at our house, the squirrels annoy all the cats in the north and east windows and the wrens (or are they sparrows?) taunt all the cats in the south and west windows.

Hadley discovered kibble early and never turned back.

some of mine don’t even recognized canned cat food as food, let alone small wildlife.

Hadley discovered kibble early and never turned back.
