Louisiana is going to be under water for a while yet and it’s August, not April.

Damn straight, Ellroon. I’ve been complaining about this shift for years. Hell, we can’t even get them to build a pipeline to run down to Central Florida to flush the Everglades. You don’t need new rights-of-way, just run along the Interstates. I-10 runs from Jacksonville to Santa Monica, about 2400 miles, and you could pick up flood overflow from the other rivers along the way.

We were just allowed to expand our rationed garden watering to three days rather than two, but even so, trees are dying, lawns are dead, and our San Gabriel mountains are completely flammable. Maybe we can get the oil companies to stop trying to push the Keystone and make a water pipeline sideways across the Rockies. We’ll happily take your surplus!
