Hurricane Gaston – Day 7

Movement: Stationary.
Maximum sustained winds: 120 mph [195 kph].
Wind Gusts: 135 mph [215 kph].
Tropical Storm Wind Radius: 140 miles [220 km].
Hurricane Wind Radius: 35 miles [ 55 km].
Minimum central pressure: 957 mb ↓.

Currently about 575 miles [ 930 km] East of Bermuda.

The storm is stronger this morning and moving slower. At 10AM CDT became a Cat 2 storm. At 4PM CDT Gaston became a Cat 3, the first major hurricane of the season.
