Sox almost always overshot his target by using too much force when jumping. Dot, OTOH, was a talented assassin – offing her victim before the creature knew there was a threat.

Update: If you bought him a harness with some weights on it, yhe might have knocked the rat out to be finished off later. Of course he might take out something that you want to keep. There are always trade offs…

And once the rat disappeared behind the refrigerator he decided that was enough exercise for the day, and walked away, got back on his heated cat bed, and went to sleep again.

Given what the wind shear has been like over the Atlantic it is rather amazing that so many of the waves coming off of Africa have managed to become tropical.

The Pacific Coast has been twice as energetic with 6 hurricanes including two that hit Baja and sent rain into Arizona and New Mexico.
