That’s dedication.

Cindy didn’t like the odds so she has stepped up her pace to leave the rookies to fight it out for the Lantern.

Aliy’s team had a bug and she stopped to take her 24-hour early so they could get over it. She thinks they caught it while running the Quest with Allen. 🙂

Yaaay for Jessie Royer, too. What a season she has had. I’m sure Aliy would have preferred to come in higher, but 8th place is more than respectable considering a 70+ number of teams.

It’s looking like Cindy Abbott may come in for a second red lantern. At least Ellen wouldn’t be the lone recipient of two! Since she appears to be keeping up fairly closely with the two teams in front of her, maybe the Iditarod officials won’t pull her and allow her to finish. Still, she’s close enough in time to several in front of her, there’s still plenty of time for her position to change, I suppose.
