You would have to know them really well to know who is actually on the runners, because they train their teams together.

I didn’t want to single out Zoya too much so I wouldn’t feel like I jinxed her if she had to scratch.

For Cindy finishing is important. More people have climbed Mount Everest than finished an Iditarod and she has managed to do both. Tough lady…

Well, it looks like Cindy may be far enough behind to be fairly certain of the Red Lantern again. Which is okay, at least she will be able to finish again. With her health issues, it’s something of a minor miracle that the lady can finish at all. I consider myself to be fairly healthy (i.e., no major known health issues), but I couldn’t do what she does.

Kristy and Anna came in together as usual. I often wonder if they go: “I’ll go in first this year, you go in first next year.” They could switch numbers and no one would be able to tell them apart (except their dogs). lol.
