This past week has been utterly cray-cray. Rolling Stone has a great round-up. My favorite moment was Sean Spicer yelling a press conference in the dark from in some bushes. Oops, sorry, "between" some bushes, as his irate correction sent to the Washington Post noted. WTF?! I need to watch SNL tonight, this is crazy! Someone needs to bring Spicey a shrubbery, LOL.

Putin is ex-KGB and the KGB used organized crime as an auxiliary for break ins and other activities, as well as an occasional hit. After the Soviet Union fell, many KGB officials took over the criminal groups they used. The Russian ‘mafia’ is a department of the Putin government. Every entity in Russia that makes money is absorbed sooner or later by the government. You can’t be an oligarch without Putin’s approval.

The Russians have been laundering money through real estate transactions. They buy a property , usually at an inflated price, and then sell after a few years, usually at a loss The money they received for the sale can be put in the banking system. Since they lost money the tax people aren’t on their case and the amount they lose is almost always less than having someone launder it for them.

The “funny” thing is that the Russians own Trump. They absolutely do. If they wanted regime change here in the USA all they’d have to do is open a Trump account on Cyprus with $45 million or so with links to some oligarchs and hello President Pence. Not that they would… Drumpf is working out fine for them. See

Drumpf. doubtfully, could be right in that he has no ties to the Russian government. But ties to the Russian mob? The Russian government has ties to their Mob and, by the law of contagion, those tied to common links are also tied to each other.
