The worst is set to happen with a ‘bomb cyclone’ forming in the Atlantic off the East Coast. The Russians call these things Burans. They are hurricane-blizzards caused by and explosive drop in atmospheric pressure that spins up hurricane wind speeds that toss around snow and ice.
